Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your vehicle order with Skyfleet Limited. This version includes all required regulatory enhancements, including Consumer Duty alignment, CONC requirements, statutory withdrawal rights, improved commission disclosure, suitability obligations and fairness clarifications.

Credit approval & affordability

This order is subject to credit approval and vehicle availability.

By signing, you consent to the finance provider carrying out credit searches on the hirer/guarantor. These searches may be recorded with credit reference agencies.

Searches are used for identity verification, underwriting and affordability assessment.

You should only proceed if you are confident you can meet all payments. Missed or late payments may harm your credit file.

Statutory 14 day right to withdraw from finance (regulated customers)

Regulated customers have a statutory right to withdraw from the finance agreement within 14 days of signing. Important:

Withdrawal applies to the finance agreement only, not the vehicle order.

You must notify the lender directly using the contact details provided in your finance documents. You must repay any funds paid out by the lender, plus daily interest.

Withdrawing from finance does not cancel your vehicle order or remove your obligation to return or pay for the vehicle, depending on funder rules.

Cancellation rights

You have the right to cancel this vehicle order by providing written notice to:

Skyfleet Limited
3 High House Business Park
Kenardington
Kent, TN26 2LF

Or by email: [email protected]

Skyfleet Limited reserves the right to cancel this order if it cannot be fulfilled or if you materially breach any terms.

Skyfleet Limited will not be financially liable for order cancellation outside of its control.

Fees, commission, and regulatory information

Skyfleet Limited is a credit broker and not a lender. We work with a selected panel of finance providers.

We will receive commission or other forms of remuneration from our finance providers. The commission may be a fixed payment, a percentage of the amount financed, or may vary depending on the product, term, or lender selected. In some cases, lenders may pay different levels of commission, which could influence which products we offer. Commission will increase the amount payable under your agreement. Skyfleet's recommendations are based on your needs and suitability, not commission levels.

Skyfleet Limited does not charge fees for:

Mid-contract support
Document assistance
End-of-contract collection assistance

However, finance providers may charge administration fees.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Third-party rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 are excluded.

If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us or refer to our website.

Finance agreement obligations

Finance agreements are fixed-term contracts with fixed mileage and fixed monthly rentals.

Early termination, excess mileage, missed servicing and damage beyond fair wear and tear may incur charges.

You must review the finance agreement carefully to ensure it meets your needs before signing.

You should only proceed if you are confident you can meet all payments and contractual obligations. Missed payments may negatively affect your credit file. Persistent non-payment could result in termination of the agreement, repossession of the vehicle, and further action to recover any outstanding debt.

Vehicle suitability statement

This statement confirms that:

You have received sufficient information to make an informed decision
Your questions have been answered
The vehicle and finance agreement meet your requirements
You confirm that the vehicle is suitable for your needs

Ordering, specification & delivery

By signing this order, you authorise Skyfleet to order the vehicle detailed in this agreement.

Vehicle specification, COâ‚‚ output and P11D values are provided as guidance only and may change prior to delivery.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be delayed by manufacturers, funders or suppliers. Skyfleet is not financially liable for delays but will keep you updated and minimise disruption.

We strongly advise you not to dispose of your current vehicle until delivery is confirmed.

Price changes & tax adjustments

Pricing may change due to:

Manufacturer price increases
VAT or taxation changes (including VED)
Finance provider pricing changes
Supplier or funder pricing errors

If a change materially affects your monthly rental, you will be notified and may cancel the order without penalty.

Vehicle maintenance & end of contract charges

You must maintain and service the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

Failure to maintain, or damage beyond fair wear and tear, may result in charges.

A copy of the BVRLA Fair Wear & Tear Guide is available on request.

Customer-maintained agreements: You are responsible for servicing, tyres, brakes, fluids, AdBlue and DPF maintenance.

Funder-maintained agreements: Maintenance items included are subject to the funder's terms.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) & AdBlue systems

DPF-equipped diesel vehicles require regular longer drives (above 40–50mph) to regenerate. Repeated short journeys may cause blockages, not usually covered by warranty.

AdBlue tanks require periodic refilling; frequency depends on driving behaviour and mileage.

You confirm the fuel type and technology chosen is suitable for your driving pattern.

Online Connectivity Services

Some vehicles include connected services on a subscription basis.

These subscriptions may expire and require renewal at your cost.

You should confirm subscription terms before proceeding.

Skyfleet is not liable for manufacturer subscription changes.

Electric & Hybrid vehicle suitability

For EVs and hybrids, you acknowledge that:

Manufacturer-quoted WLTP ranges differ from real-world range, which may be reduced by cold weather, heating use, speed, gradients and battery age.

Charging access (home, workplace or public) must be available and suitable for your needs.

Regenerative braking effectiveness varies and may not suit all driving environments.

You must ensure charging cables and accessories included are suitable for your use case.

Manufacturer warranty

All new vehicles include a manufacturer warranty covering mechanical defects.

Warranty coverage may not last for the full duration of your contract. You should check warranty terms and consider extended warranty if needed.

Warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect fluids, lack of servicing, DPF blockages, AdBlue depletion or general wear-and-tear.

Warranty repairs must be carried out by authorised service centres.

Customer Suitability Confirmation

By signing this order, you confirm that:

You have disclosed accurate information about your mileage, usage and driving conditions.

The vehicle chosen is suitable for your needs, including range, fuel type, towing capacity, payload, environmental conditions and usage profile.

Your questions regarding technology, maintenance, running costs and contract terms have been answered sufficiently.

Skyfleet accepts no liability for losses arising from the finance agreement or vehicle supply except where caused by our negligence.

We will act reasonably, provide updates and minimise inconvenience arising from delays or supplier issues.
